1. Recap of Spring Game/Alumni Game/Barbecue

Springtime is not only a time of rebirth but a time for reunions. Our fabulous extended Crusader Football Family kicked off a busy 6 week period this past weekend with a great gathering at the annual spring game/alumni game/barbecue. To all who attended I know you share my sentiments as to how exciting it was to see our 2012 contingent flying around Fitton Field. It was a great day to reconnect with old friends, including Scottie Persechino '84, make new friends, such as Bill Cambria, and see true Crusader diehards, Rick Cohn and Mike Guilfoile. . .amongst a very large crowd of loyal and faithful fans and family. Welcome to all the incoming Crusader freshman and families who came from far and wide.
 

Major props to Dan Adams '07 for leading a strong team of alums. Little doubt that Dom Randolph, Ryan Mcguire, Freddie Santana, Sean Lamkin, Paul Scopetski (HC '69) and many more 'still got it'. The alums came out on top 21-7. Nice job gentlemen!!

The 3rd edition of the Jackie Mo' Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to two members of The Greatest Generation and fellow classmates from the class of 1948. The two winners, Frank Marshall and Bill Doyle, have collectively witnessed close to 150 years of Holy Cross Football. That is a lifetime...and that is an achievement. We were regaled by their sharing memories of Crusader victories from the 1930s and early '40s. That's how we spell ........T-R-A-D-I-T-I-O-N!!

2. Varsity Club Dinner, May 5th  
I recently had the great fortune of catching up with Steve Buchanan '74. "Bucky" is being inducted into the Holy Cross Hall of Fame at the Varsity Club Dinner on Saturday evening May 5th. Come honor Buck, Ken Komodzinski '60, Art Martin, and all the other award winners. For tickets and dinner info please call Linda George in the Athletics Office 508-793-2724. 

3. Holy Cross Annual Golf Outing, June 1st  

We are in the process of solidifying our base and want to thank those who have already committed to playing in what is always a "can't miss event".
